JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — If you’re disabled or a senior living in Jacksonville there is a new way to get help with your finances during the pandemic.
The city launched the Senior and Disabled Financial Assistance Program offering hundreds of dollars to thousands of people.
To qualify you must:
- Live in Duval County, be at least 72-years-old or receive social security disability benefits
- Have an adjusted gross income less than $30,000 in 2019
- Verify that you didn’t get any other money from the city’s other loan and assistance programs related to the pandemic
