JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jags fan has made it to Los Angeles to watch Super Bowl 56 with Jacksonville Jaguars’ Myles Jack.
John Marcus has been friends with the Jags linebacker since Jack’s first year in Jacksonville.

The two met at a charity basketball tournament and instantly hit it off.
Since then, Marcus would meet Jack after every home game to catch up.
During the last home game of the 2021 season, a big win against the Colts, Marcus noticed Jack didn’t give away his jersey.
“I said, ‘I want the game jersey,’ and he was like, ‘Nah, I got something better.’ And I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ He was like, ‘You want to go to the Super Bowl?,’” Marcus said.
Marcus said it wasn’t until the next day when he got a phone call from Jack’s mother that it hit him.
“I was like ‘Man, I’m really going to the Super Bowl!,’ and I started crying.”
Marcus won’t just be attending NFL’s biggest game of the season. He also sat next to Jack for the NFL honors show, where Jack was up for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
