JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A local 2-year-old girl who has been in the foster care system since birth was recently adopted by a Jacksonville couple during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Duval County Courthouse may not be holding proceedings in its facility, but judges continued their services via video call platforms such as Zoom.
The Moody family was able to participate in Isla’s adoption hearing from their living room through Zoom.
