A challenge to Jacksonville’s anti-discrimination ordinance is headed back to court.

An appellate court has ruled the way the city passed the ordinance in 2017 violated state law, because the entire ordinance was not completely written when it was passed.

The court has sent a lawsuit challenging the ordinance back to a lower court.
