JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department is aiming to fill a dozen positions, including 911 communications officers.
A 911 communications officer is the first person to speak with those in desperate need of help. The position offers benefits such as competitive wages, paid training and health insurance.
