JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATED STORY:
Funeral arrangements have been made for Captain Tom Barber.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue say Capt. Barber will be honored on Tuesday, June 22 at 11 a.m. at 251 W. Ohio Street in Macclenny.
JFRD asks anyone who would like to pay their respects for Capt. Barber can do so by viewing the service along N 7th Street from I-10.
For those wishing to pay their respects and view the procession from service to the cemetery, the best place to view will be in Baker County along the streets. The route will be N 7th st to US90 to 228 to I10.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department shared Monday that Captain Thomas M. Barber, a JFRD veteran of 21 years, who also served in the Navy, has passed.
Captain Barber was a part of Rescue 25 for JFRD.
He is survived by his wife, Malissa, three children, and his parents.
JFRD said arrangements will be announced later.
