“He was my miracle actually. I had him when I was 37 years old. After he was born I had three miscarriages. I knew he was my miracle. He was truly a blessing from God." Carole Jackson said. “He was just a great little boy. Heart of gold.”
The mother who picked up the paid-for cakes, Samantha Huffaker, told Jackson, “I personally wanted to reach out to find you. One, I was curious about, I wanted to know. I wanted to know where you were coming from. Why you started doing this to begin with, and I wanted to thank you."
“He (Colton) was everything. Now it’s finding ways to honor him. That’s what we do,” Jackson said. “We want to do things that he can look down and say that’s my mom and dad.”
