The beaches are expected to be packed this weekend.
Jacksonville officials are asking anyone that is heading out to the beach this holiday weekend to be aware of possible rip currents.
The City of Jacksonville Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security tweeted Saturday, May 29, that the beaches have a yellow flag.
A yellow flag means that conditions in the water are moderate with possible rip currents.

St. Johns County officials are warning beachgoers of red flag warnings. Lifeguards will be on duty on St. Johns County beaches from 10:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Red flags mean that there are multiple rip currents along St. Johns County beaches.
