Jacksonville: Man shot, killed on Perry Street, police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police responded to a person shot at the 4000 block of Perry Street around 6:25 p.m., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police say they found a man in his mid-20′s dead from multiple gunshot wounds in the front yard upon arrival.

The Sheriff’s Office says a second man in his mid-20′s was located nearby, hiding in a resident’s shed. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
