NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — A child has been seriously injured after getting hit by a car near Fletcher High School on Friday, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department confirmed. The child was riding on a bicycle.
JFRD responded to the crash around 2:48 p.m. at Seagate Avenue and Eastern Drive.
The child was taken to the hospital and has not been identified.
