JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 14-year-old was shot at the 5300 block of Tubman Drive North on Saturday night. He was transferred to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the 14-year-old victim was walking with his friend when he was shot in the leg.
Police do not have any suspect information at this time but they did determine that the driver of a vehicle of an unknown make and model was shooting outside the vehicle’s window.
Police do not believe this was a random incident but cannot determine if it was isolated. They say there is no threat to the public.
