JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One day after a 21-year-old woman was found shot to death in the Normandy Park area of the city’s Westside, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced an arrest.
22-year-old Deiondre Lewis has been charged with murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a concealed firearm.

We updated the investigation throughout Monday after Taliyah Williams was found shot to death. Her relationship to Lewis hasn’t been established by police, but family members told Action News Jax that her murder was domestic-related.
Lewis was arrested just over one year ago for charges of possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana.
