JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery in the 9800 block of Baymeadows Road.
Officers responded to the robbery around 4 p.m. on Friday and, upon arrival, they located the vehicle that the male suspects were residing in.
The vehicle fled west on Baymeadows Road and officers pursued. They managed to stop the chase at the 8000 block of Baymeadows Road.
When officers approached the vehicle, two of the three suspects attempted to run but were swiftly apprehended.
The third suspect, the driver, was found deceased at the scene due to a possible gunshot wound.
No officer fired their service weapon during the incident.
