JSO: Man shot in Northwest Jacksonville expected to recover

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man in his 20s was shot in the 1600 block of Seminary Street around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

The man was found with at least one gunshot wound by police. It is unclear how many times he was shot and where. He is in non-life-threatening condition and was transferred to the hospital.

There is no suspect information.

Police say they are still in the initial process of the investigation, and details are limited. They recommend residents take normal precautions and be vigilant in the area.
