JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 1/4/2020 3:55 p.m.: Action News Jax Ryan Nelson confirmed 18-year-old Malik Brown was killed during Friday night’s double shooting.

UPDATE 11:15 p.m.: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said one man was killed and another was shot multiple times during a possible a robbery Friday in Durkeeville.
JSO said when they arrived at the apartment complex on the 2100 block of West 12th Street they found an 18-year-old man who was killed. Another man, who they described as 25 to 28 years old, was shot multiple times and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said he is cooperating with investigators.
A car belonging to one of the victims is being sealed and towed from the apartment complex.
JSO said at least six shots were fired at the scene. They believe there were multiple suspects and possibly another vehicle involved, but haven’t released descriptions for either.
