JTA celebrates 50th anniversary with FREE bus rides

DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — If you need a ride this week, the Jacksonville Transportation Authority has you covered.

To celebrates its 50th anniversary, JTA bus rides will be free from Monday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 26.

If you use the MyJTA or Token Transit Mobile apps, use promo code JTA50 to get a free ride.

The promotion includes all cash and STAR card users too, JTA stated.

Also, if you’re in need of a job, the company is offering $10-15,000 signing bonuses in hopes to curb its driver shortage.
