JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police began an investigation at a massage salon on Jacksonville’s Southside last week and arrested at least four women they say were offering sexual acts for money.
On Jan. 27, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office began a prostitution investigation at New Star Massage located on Baymeadows Road near Old Kings Road South.
According to arrest reports, members of JSO’s vice unit walked into the business, paid $70 for a massage — but were also offered sex.

Action News Jax obtained the arrests reports for the women, who ranged in age from 33 to 58:
Ying Wang, 58, faces a charge of misrepresenting herself as a licensed masseuse and a charge of offering, committing or engaging in prostitution.
The report stated Wang attempted to perform a sex act during a massage.
Another detective said 56-year-old Li Yang offered him sexual acts for $100. She faces a charge of offering, committing or engaging in prostitution.
During a massage of another officer, Yang Ting Fang, 58, offered sexual favors and attempted to perform a sexual act, according to JSO. She now faces a second violation charge of offering, committing or engaging in prostitution. Police said she had been previously arrested in 2018 for prostitution.
Yue Li, 33, offered three sexual acts during a massage, according to the report. One for $100, one for $200 and another for $120.
A search of the Florida Department of Health license database revealed that she did not have a massage license. She faces a charge of misrepresenting herself as a licensed masseuse and a charge of offering, committing or engaging in prostitution.
