LifeSouth blood donor center on Baymeadows Way will now be open on Saturdays

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This Saturday kicks off the first day the LifeSouth blood donor center on Baymeadows Way will be open over the weekend.

Typically the location is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but because of the emergency need for blood donations to help local patients, the location will be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There is an ongoing need for all blood types.
