JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A local woman who is pushing to get family members back with their loved ones staying in long-term care facilities safely is making progress.
Mary Daniel took a job as a dishwasher a month ago at a memory care facility just to be close to her husband.
Daniel says she talking to the director of the Florida Division of emergency management over the weekend.
She believes he listened. She is still hoping to talk to Governor Ron DeSantis. He has mentioned her by name in two of his news conferences.
