Family says the grand jury returned this indictment around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
McCurdy was found dead on the side of the road in the Mayport area in April.
In July, Wilson was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Norfolk, Virginia. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said he was wanted for the murders of McCurdy and Trevor Matthew, 32.
McCurdy’s parents, Faye and Bruce, Sr., previously told Action News Jax exclusively that a teenager has also been arrested in connection with the case. He faces multiple charges including tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact.

Thursday, Action News Jax spoke with Bruce and Faye McCurdy about their son and the developments in the case.
“He took our heart,” Faye McCurdy said. “He took a piece of our pie. It'll never be the same. I don't care how many years go by, it will never be the same for me and Bruce.” The State Attorney's Office will have 45 days from Wilson's arraignment on these new charges to decide if it'll pursue the death penalty.
That's not what the McCurdy's want. “I want him to suffer,” Faye McCurdy said. “Death is too easy to me.”
Wilson’s trial is scheduled to begin in June.
