Man found dead in road on Jacksonville’s Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Detectives are investigating the circumstances that left a man dead on Jacksonville’s Northside, Tuesday.

Officers said at 6:30 p.m. they responded to the 4600 block of Wrico Drive near Ken Knight Drive and found the man lying in the roadway.

JSO said he was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers did not say how the person may have died.

Action News Jax’s Dani Bozzini asked whether police believe there may have been a hit-and-run and if there was suspect vehicle, but police could not answer those questions at this time.
