Man receives fine after TSA finds loaded firearm in his luggage at JAX

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Transportation Security Administration stopped a man on Friday after officers found a loaded firearm in his luggage at Jacksonville International Airport.

Action News Jax told you about the alarming number of firearms found at airports on Thursday. Since then, there have been three additional firearms found at JAX.

According to the TSA, 205 firearms have been found at Florida airports and 20 of them were found at JAX this year.

The man will receive a fine for having a firearm with one bullet in its chamber.
