ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. — Americans will honor the 80th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
The Fleet Reserve Association Branch 290 has been putting on a remembrance ceremony to honor the lives lost since the 1960s.

This year’s ceremony begins at 9 a.m. at the branch located at 390 Mayport Road in Atlantic Beach.
More than 2,400 were killed on the attack on Pearl Harbor Hawaii 80 years ago. The majority were Navy personnel.
It was the event that ultimately pushed Americans into World War II.
