JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was hit by a car on Baymeadows Road around 10:45 p.m. Friday night.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
FHP said the road is closed while police investigate the scene.
