DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is working to learn who shot and killed a man Friday morning in Arlington.
Officers said the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. outside the University Place Apartments on University Boulevard. The Sheriff’s Office said the man had been shot multiple times and found in a courtyard of the apartment complex, where he died.

Detectives are speaking with a witness who called 911. At this time, JSO does not have any information regarding a suspect and there is no surveillance video.
The man’s identity has not been released.
