JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The state is piecing together their case against a Jacksonville mom charged in connection to the disappearance of her 5-year-old daughter Taylor Williams.
Action News Jax reported in November when Taylor’s body was discovered in Alabama.
Brianna Williams is expected in court at 9 a.m. Tuesday for a pretrial hearing. She faces charges of child neglect and lying to police in connection to the disappearance of her daughter.

- Williams reported Taylor missing in Nov. 6, 2019. She reportedly told police she last saw Taylor in her bedroom of their Brentwood home.
- Taylor’s body was found in a wooded area not far from Williams hometown in Alabama on Nov. 12, 2019.
