JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two of the newest additions to the giraffe exhibit have officially been named — and they’re very cute.
Two baby giraffes were born at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, a male on July 2 and a female on July 21. With the help of donations, the Jacksonville Zoo has made sure these two babies are well taken care of. In turn, supportive donors got to give them names.
The male giraffe has been named Trevor after the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
The female was named Helen Honey after a donor’s own family member.
Congratulations babies!
