JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a third man they said was involved in a murder in Mandarin.
The murder happened February 2020 at the Sugar Mill complex on Crown Point Road.
On Tuesday, JSO said they arrested Jurgen Marku, 21, the man they believe orchestrated the plan to rob Elias Alhirsh.

The 34-year-old was visiting a friend’s home, when he was ambushed.
Action News Jax reported when Alhirsh was found dead in the complex’s parking lot.
JSO said he was walking to his car when two men approached him and a fight broke out. Alhirsh died after being shot several times, according to police.

The two men fled the area in a dark colored car, but in April, officers announced they arrested Andrew Rauco, 21, and Lavonta Burrell, 39, for their involvement in Alhirsh’s death.
Marku faces second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
