Timeline: St. Johns Town Center development

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — March 18, 2005: Phase I of the St. Johns Town Center opened in March 2005. At this time, stores included:

  • The Cheesecake Factory
  • P.F. Chang’s
  • Dillard’s
  • Barnes & Noble
  • Dick’s Sporting Goods
  • Staples
  • Ross
  • Old Navy
  • DSW
  • Jo-Ann
  • PetsMart
  • Target

October 2007: Phase II opened and featured 400,000 square foot of additional retail and restaurants, including:

  • Abercrombie
  • Betsey Johnson
  • Brooks Brothers
  • BCBG
  • Coach
  • Juicy Couture
  • Louis Vuitton
  • Lululemon
  • MetroPark
  • Pottery Barn
  • True Religion
  • Mac

2013: Phase III of the project was started to appropriately expand the outdoor shopping center to accommodate the arrival of Nordstrom. The path to the department store was broken into three sections: The Transition Court, The Shopping Court and the EBar Lounge.

October 2014: Phase III was opened to the public.

2018: Sources told Action News Jax that in its annual report, the Town Center was almost 99.9% leased.

2019: This year, Fabletics, Chubbies and The Escape Game opened at the St. Johns Town Center.
