JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Several streets in Jacksonville are currently closed following a “train accident,” according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said a pedestrian was hit by the train and died at the scene.
All streets to the west of Philips Highway that cross the railroad tracks, from I-95 to Old St. Augustine Road, are closed.
