JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville motorcyclist is dead after a crash involving a SUV Thursday morning. The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 1:47 a.m. on I-10 West.
The motorcyclist was traveling westbound when he struck the back of the SUV, according to FHP.

Troopers said the 30-year-old man was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the crash site. His name has not been released as troopers work to notify his family.
The two people inside the SUV were not injured.
All westbound lanes on I-10 at Lenox Avenue were closed but have since reopened.
