Troopers seeking to identify person hit and killed by car on N. Main St.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking the identity of a pedestrian that was hit and killed by a car Tuesday night in Jacksonville.

Troopers said the deadly collision happened just before 10 p.m. at N. Main Street and Franklin Avenue.

A 52-year-old Jacksonville man was driving on N. Main Street when he hit an unknown male walking in the road.

As of early Wednesday morning, troopers have not been able to identify him to inform his next of kin.

An age range of the male was not given.
