JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A local mom said she woke up to the sound of gun shots on Sunday night, only to find her glass door shattered and bullet holes in both her home and car.
Katrina Williams lives with her older parents, grandkids and children. She showed Action News Jax reporter Meghan Moriarty the bullet holes near her mother’s bedroom. Her front glass door was also shattered and her car had been hit by bullets too.
She said this was a random drive-by and she doesn’t know who would do this to her family.
Two families say their homes were struck by bullets in what they believe was a drive-by shooting. In the last 2 weeks, gunfire has shaken this neighborhood, waking up their kids at night. Both moms tell me they have no idea why this street is being targeted @ActionNewsJax pic.twitter.com/IUtwUJVMux

Moriarty also spoke to Williams’ neighbor. She said she also had a similar incident happen at her home almost two weeks ago. She showed Action News Jax the bullet holes in her walls and around her door frame.
