DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — Two people in Jacksonville happened to claim their $1 million winnings from a Florida Lottery scratch-off game on the same day.
Lottery officials announced both residents played the FASTEST ROAD TO $1,000,000.
Joyce Blackman, 61, bought her winning ticket from the Publix located at 14444 Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville.

Both winners chose to take home their winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $790,000.
The stores will get a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning tickets.
Action News Jax reported earlier this month when Lauren Santos, another Jacksonville woman, played the same game and also won the $1 million prize.
Since the Feb. 24, 2020 launch of the $30 scratch-off game, 11 Jacksonville residents have claimed $1 million, according to lottery records.
