Two men accused of killing a 21-year-old Alabama man found hiding out in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — JSO arrested 32-year-old David Manuel Hernandez and 21-year-old Marcos Oslan over the weekend, just five days after 21-year-old Tracie Dennis was reported missing from Mobile.

Mobile Director of Public Safety James Barber says police found a body, believed to be Dennis, buried outside a home on Marcus Drive.

Dennis is believed to have been shot to death at the home on Monday night and buried shortly afterwards.

Hernandez and Oslan have been charged in connection with the death, according to Mobile police.

The men who are both Puerto Ricans were captured in the Jackson Heights area of Jacksonville.

Dennis was reported missing by his family earlier this week. He had last been seen leaving the Cheetah Speed Laundromat on Airport Boulevard in Mobile on Monday morning.

Police say Dennis had a working relationship with the suspects, who were labor workers, Barber said.

They also say Dennis did work with them and last Monday he went to them to get paid for past work.

Neighbors told police they heard two gunshots and a scream coming from the home Monday night..

“These were the last people that we knew that he was last seen with or going to visit, this is what grew our interest to this location along with a tip to this location.” said Barber.

Hernandez and Oslan could both face murder charges.

They are now both waiting to be extradited back to Mobile Alabama.
