JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The University of North Florida has canceled its scheduled Spring Break in 2021. This decision was made to protect the health and safety of students, faculty and staff.
The new semester will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 6, but it will end a week early on Friday, April 23. The last day of classes will be on Friday, April 16, and final exams will be held during the following week.
These schedule changes are believed to help reduce the potential of students returning to campus with COVID-19 after traveling during Spring Break.
UNF joins other schools that have canceled Spring Break, including UF and FSU. For more information about other Spring Break cancellations view the story below.
