‘No biological threat’ in ‘white powder letter’ found at FBI Jacksonville building

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — FBI Jacksonville said “no biological threat was detected” in a “white powder letter” that was found at the agency’s building on Gate Parkway on Friday afternoon.

FBI Jacksonville sent Action News Jax the following updated statement about the investigation:

“Preliminary results have concluded that no biological threat was detected, and all responding agencies have cleared the FBI facility. This is an ongoing federal investigation and no additional details can be provided at this time. We again thank JSO and JFRD for their swift response to our calls for assistance.”
