Woman shot in Walmart parking lot off Beach Blvd

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman was shot in the parking lot of Walmart in the Killarnery Shore neighborhood Wednesday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Police said they were called to Walmart in the 8000 block of Beach Boulevard in reference to a shooting.

When police arrived, they located a woman with a gunshot wound. She was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

JSO reported the shooting occurred after an unknown dispute.

Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.

Police have not located a suspect.
