TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Customers using area codes 904, 386, and 352 are invited by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC), to participate in a virtual workshop at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23. To participate, customers should sign up by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 18.

Telephone numbers in the 904 region are expected to exhaust in 2024.

This workshop is to discuss what proposals are being considered by the PSC to create new area codes in Jacksonville and nearby communities.

There could be a substantial impact to regions 386 and 352 according to PSC therefore residents from the 904, 386, and 352 are strongly encouraged to participate in the workshop.

PSC says that options being considered for relief of the 904 area code could also impact the 386 and 352 area codes, so residents from said area codes, 904 especially are encouraged to participate.

If you would like to participate, sign up Friday, March 18 by 5 p.m.

Participating by phone at the virtual workshop, sign up via email speakersignup@psc.state.fl.us or by calling 1-850-413-7080 no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, March 18.
