A new video from the Action News Jax Sky Vision drone shows the Shell gas station at the corner of Edgewood Avenue West and Avenue B where the young mom was killed on Monday.

Action News Jax reporter Jamarlo Phillips spoke to a man who witnessed the shooting.

For his own protection, he asked not to be identified.

“I’m sitting here in my car, that car right there, sitting right there I’m looking at my phone about to get ready to go into the store and I hear pow pow, pow, pow,” said a witness who asked not to be named.

In these pictures, a man can be seen wearing a hoodie and a face mask while holding a gun.

Police say the man pulled up in a silver Nissan Rogue, got out and fired several shots into a car before driving off.

Mad Dads which is a local nonprofit dedicated to solving crimes says the community needs to speak up.

“They have no regards for human life at all. They’re embarrassing the community and they need to break the code of silence to remove this individual from our community. She was a mother regardless of what the circumstances was,” said president Donald Foy.

Police say they believe the victim was targeted.

“Oh God I hope they catch him. I’m not going to say nothing bad about the man because I don’t know what type of relationship he was in or why he did it,” explained the witness.

Police say if you know anything about the shooting to call them or Crime Stoppers.
