Edward Waters College Board of Trustees announced Dr. A. Zachary Faison Jr. as its 30th president Wednesday.
Faison was unanimously voted in by the college's board of trustees after a nationwide search following the retirement of former president Dr. Nathaniel Glover.
EWC welcomes Faison from Tuskegee University where he was general counsel and vice President of external affairs.
Faison's first public appearance will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Edward Waters College Adam-Jenkins Sports and Music Complex.
