ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — An employee was injured in a kitchen fire Wednesday at the Loop Restaurant Wednesday in Julington Creek.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue responded at about 10:45 a.m. to the restaurant, which is in the 400 block of SR 13 North.
The victim was taken by air to UF Health in Gainesville and is in serious condition.
The fire was extinguished.
No other injuries were reported.
SJCFR and the State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
