Fatal car crash causing a vehicle to engulf into flames, FHP says

DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — According to Florida Highway Patrol, two vehicles on Interstate 95 were traveling south when a sedan became disabled on the left lane causing a pickup truck to hit the rear.

Due to the impact of the crash, the pick up truck was pushed forward while the sedan became engulfed into flames.

The pick up truck came to final rest in the center grass median facing East. The sedan came to final rest in the left lane fully engulfed, facing South.

The driver of the sedan was found dead and the driver of the pick up truck did not suffer any injuries.
