Interstate 295 shut down at Beach Blvd. completely after a fatality in the southbound lanes and a second crash northbound, troopers said.
Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to I-295 southbound at Beach at 10:21 a.m. for a fatality.
Troopers say a pedestrian was hit by a semi truck.

A second crash was reported in the northbound lanes of I-295.
FHP says a semi jackknifed and is blocking all northbound lanes. No injuries were reported.
Troopers are warning against rubbernecking as they work to clear both scenes.
