Federal investigators have arrested Jamie and Jennifer Buteau on charges related to the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.
Jamie Buteau is facing 8 charges, including, engaging in physical violence on capitol grounds, obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, assaulting, and resisting or impeding certain officers or employees, among others.
Jennifer Buteau is charged with entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a capitol building, and parading demonstrating or picketing in a capitol building.
A Vice News article referenced in court documents called the Buteaus, “QAnon believers that Trump may have pointed to at a Florida rally.”
So far, 44 Floridians have been federally charged for their involvement in the riot, according to the FBI.
