Mayo Clinic is also off the San Pablo exit.
Last week, Action News Jax reported that Mayo is in the process of expanding, and over the next five years, their campus will add 300,000 square-feet of space and hundreds of new workers.
The Florida Department of Transportation said that with the expansion, they’ve worked with the North Florida Transportation Planning organizations and developed a concept plan that they believe will help with the added traffic to the area.
We showed Meyer the concept of a diverging diamond interchange at JTB's San Pablo exits.

“I think it will be very good. I think that’s what we need, and there are a lot of other places in town (that) need it, too,” Meyer said.
While the diverging diamond interchange may look confusing, FDOT said it’s designed to help with efficiency. It limits left turns and can help deter wrong-way driving at interchanges.
FDOT said it's still only a concept at this point.
