JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Alert Weather Team says it’s another cold morning with temperatures near/below freezing inland and chilly in the 40s along the coast.

Today will be mostly sunny inland and partly cloudy along the coast with chilly highs in the upper 50s.

Showers will develop offshore tonight and some will move over the coastal counties during the day Monday (primarily east of Highway 301).

Most if not all rain will lift north of our area Tuesday leaving us with a dry and nice Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day is also trending drier with temperatures in the low 70s and an isolated shower. Most neighborhoods could stay totally dry.

Rain chances remain Thursday into next weekend, with isolated showers currently favored but watching trends for any changes.
