First Alert Weather: Another cold night ahead with freezing temperatures

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Alert Weather Team says there’s going to be a freeze warning tonight.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Clear skies and diminishing winds will allow temperatures to dip into the 20s inland tonight and low to mid-30s at the beaches.
  • Sun Wednesday, but temperatures continue below average, topping out near 55, followed by another freeze Wednesday night/early Thursday.
  • A brief warm-up Friday ahead of the next storm system pushing highs into the 60s.
  • Showers develop Friday night into Saturday then another temperature dip with at least inland freezes Sunday and Monday.
