About 90% of the man’s remains were found July 18 at the Toscana community on Old Kings Road.

Deputies said FCSO’s Cold Case Unit and Dr. Erin Kimmerle’s team from the Florida Institute of Forensic Anthropology & Applied Science at USF determined the remains were of an African-American or mixed-race male between the ages of 35 and 50.
