NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Supervisors of Elections Association announces a new scholarship opportunity to support current college students.

According to Nassau County Supervisor of Elections Janet H. Adkins, the Florida Supervisors of Elections is offering three $1,200 scholarships to college students across the state in a commitment to furthering education and civic engagement.
The following is the criteria needed to apply:
- MUST be registered Florida voters.
- Lived in Florida for at least the preceding two years.
- Majoring in either Political Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or Journalism/Mass Communication.
- AT LEAST a junior in college.
- Enrolled as full-time students in a senior college/university in Florida.
- Maintained a “C” average or above for the previous academic year.
The deadline to apply for a scholarship is March 7, 2025. Applications are available online or may be picked up from the Nassau County Supervisor of Elections Office.
Applications must be submitted to the elections office of the county in which the applicant is registered to vote. Each county will select one finalist to send to the FSE Scholarship Committee for consideration.
